The park is open daily from 6 AM to 10:30 PM, providing plenty of daylight and evening hours to enjoy the many amenities.

Paloma Community Park offers a range of sports facilities, including a baseball and softball complex with four lighted fields perfect for games any time of day. There are also several multi-purpose fields where visitors can play soccer, frisbee, or other field sports, along with four lighted pickleball courts for fans of this fast-growing game.

For families and children, the park features an inclusive playground designed with accessibility in mind. Its three-story climbing structure includes three slides, spinning equipment, ropes, and poles to climb and balance on. Nearby is a separate toddler playground, ideal for younger children to play safely while parents watch close by. One of the favorite summertime spots is the splash pad, which opened in April 2021. It runs seasonally from mid-April through mid-October, operating between 10 AM and 8 PM, with shaded areas for sun protection. Eleven picnic ramadas scattered throughout the park offer shaded places for families and groups to gather for meals or celebrations.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the park includes a community fishing lake with fishing decks, offering a peaceful setting for both beginners and experienced anglers. Fishing requires a proper license and adherence to local fishing rules. Surrounding the lake and other park features are wide walking and jogging paths that provide a scenic route through the desert landscape. The park also has ample parking—712 spaces currently—making it convenient even during busy times.

Dog owners will appreciate the three-acre off-leash dog park, which is sectioned into areas for different dog sizes to socialize safely. The park also includes multiple restroom buildings conveniently placed near key areas like the playgrounds and dog park.
